Trendy. Affordable. Gorgeous. If those aren’t buzzwords for most women out there, I don’t know what is. The struggle is real though, trying to find cute clothes online for a reasonable price all while trying to gauge whether or not the piece you just fell in love with will work on your body type.
I can’t even tell you how many times I have bought an item online, only to receive it and have it be nothing like it was pictured. The fit is totally different than how I imagined, the fabric feels cheap, or the color is totally different than pictured. There are so many things that can go wrong when buying clothes online.
Julie, mother of three, has been has been helping women avoid all of this through TAG Clothing Boutique, which has been in business since 2015.
TAG is a bit of a more recent find for me. Julie belongs to a number of the same Facebook groups as I do, and I had some interaction with her though one that I was an admin for. My opinion of her was nothing but positive and I had high hopes for a business run by her.
I had some time to waste awhile back and I started to peruse the TAG Facebook group. The website has a ton of gorgeous clothes on it, but the Facebook page is what you need to focus on. This is a closed Facebook group where customers can show their TAG purchases and give styling ideas. They also offer exclusive sales & deals through the group, and post items on there before they go on the website! If there is enough interest in an item they can often bring in additional.
My favorite part about this group? The fact that they will often show how items fit on a size small and a size large. This is SO needed. It’s very difficult to know how something will fit when the model has the opposite body type as you. They will offer insight on sizing and fit to help you feel confident about your purchase.
It was through this browsing that I found Greta.
Greta made me instantly stop in my tracks..or, well in my scrolling.
The lace pattern, the color, the fit. It was perfection.
This style of top can sometimes be very difficult, it’s a bit swingy, which can create a tent-like fit. It doesn’t matter what body type you have or what size you wear, no one wants to wear a top that someone could set up camp under.
Based on questions/comments in the thread, and pictures that were included, I felt secure in the fact that no one would be cuddling up in a sleeping bag under this shirt. I had finally decided to take the plunge on my first TAG order.
Man, am I ever glad that I did. I staked my claim and received an invoice shortly after. Shipping didn’t take long and I was so excited to have this top in my hands.
The best part? There was no let down when I opened the package. This top was exactly what I was expecting, maybe even just slightly better!
