Memebox is a non-subscription Korean beauty and makeup box that contains 4-7 full sized and deluxe products varying from makeup, skin care, and hair & body products. Superboxes are also available which cater to those looking for full-sized products. The Superboxes have a specific theme, and each item in that box is carefully selected to fit that theme. Prices vary and shipping is $6.99. If you purchase Value Sets then you also receive a free upgrade to express shipping. Boxes sell out fast so you have to jump on them while you can. New boxes are being released regularly.

This is the second OMG 2 box, you can read my review of the first box here. As usual, the items came neatly packaged in a bright pink box from Korea. They describe this box as:
“We rounded up some of the kookiest and most unusual beauty trends that took
Seoul by storm! From funky makeup trends to cool skin and hair treatments, these
fun cosmetic innovations will definitely inspire you to rethink your current makeup
routine. Loaded with even weirder, even funkier Memebox cult favorites, this box
is a must-have for beauty enthusiasts and beauty-holics!”
Cristallin Cellulose Mask ($10)–These concentrated cellulose sheet masks encourage the skin’s natural recovery function by providing a rich infusion of nutrition to help improve skin’s clarity and elasticity. They also say that the jelly-like texture feels like an octopus wrapped around your face. I’ve said it a few times, but I have so many face mask products to use up, this has been added to the list, but it will be awhile before I can properly review it.
Priori Aroma Ac Moisture Gel Mist ($24)–This gel mist is enriched with bee venom, propolis, sophora roots, balloon flower roots, and Multi EX Magnotics. This gel mist helps soothe and treat skin troubles and blemishes. I’m pretty lucky in the fact that I don’t often have any skin troubles or blemishes. I have been using this product daily though, spraying it once on my face in the morning after doing my face routine. I haven’t noticed any direct difference but it does feel really nice.
Seatree Syn-Ake Essence ($20)-This product contains youth-preserving ingredients such as Syn-ake peptides, which is in the similar composition to snake venom, and hylaluronic acid to help deliver targeted repair as needed, where needed. It’s recommended for all skin types, ages, and ethnicities. It visibly addresses uneven skin tone, lines, and wrinkles for visibly firmer, more radiant and more supple skin. I’ve been using this product a few times a week and haven’t noticed much of a difference. Because of its ingredients, I think I expected to have a firming feel from it. Again, I think it’s because I don’t really suffer from the issues that it helps. I do like though how this product is good for a wide range of people.
Haruen Dorothy Haruen-S ($26)–This is a 100% volcanic rock rollerball that absorbs excess oil, grease and other blackhead and acne inducers just by rolling across the skin. One skin problem I do have is an oily forehead. I introduced this rollerball into my morning routine and have definitely noticed a difference, unfortunately not long-term. If my forehead is oily when I use it, it definitely takes the shine away. Unfortunately, it doesn’t keep it from coming back.
Milky Dress Bohr-effect Carboxy Gel ($24)–This is a 2 step facial mask that cleans deep down into pores to extract pore clogging bacteria, and firms and tightens sagging skin. This is another one of those products that are added to my list of items to use.
Ladykin Vanpir Dark Repair Cream ($50)–This cream is a clinically proven skin brightener that restores luminosity, corrects weak moisture barriers, and protects skin from future discolorations. It contains melanin-inhibiting green tea extracts and visibly helps to diminish dark spots and discolorations while restoring clarity and brightness to dull, uneven skin. It also contains anti-aging properties. This is a very expensive cream with a lot of benefits. I’m trying to use up other creams that I have first, but I definitely plan on bumping this cream to the top of my list, after my open ones are used up.
I was fairly impressed with this box. I still don’t feel that they are completely following the theme, but more than past boxes I have received. There are some odd ingredients in some of these products (bee venom, snake venom etc.) but I still expect more from products coming from Korea. That said, I am by no means disappointed and have already used many of these products.
This particular box is sold out but there are still tons of other boxes to choose from.
