signature cheeky Korean names and gosh-darn-cute packaging. From miniature beautifying
trinkets to precious pouch portables, this box full of darling beauty finds will make you bubble over with giddiness.”
Being a sucker for all things cute, I had to have this box. Memeboxes coming in a pink box, and are always perfectly packed and include an information card for all the products.
It’s Skin Babyface Petit Blusher ($7)–This is a very basic blush, but with cute packaging. It’s a very bright pink colour that I don’t see myself using. The applicator puff is cute as well, but I think I prefer to use a brush for applying blush.
The YEON Style Y Fruity Swirl Lip Balms Lime Twist ($8)–This lip balm contains jojoba oil which moisturizes and locks in hydration. It has a never-sticky formula and juicy flavour. I was actually kind of thrown off by this product. From the looks of the balm and the vibrancy of the colour, I expected it to be one of those harder products. Putting my finger into the container, it’s actually a very soft, gel-like formula. A little bit goes a long way with this product, and definitely tastes good as well!
SaintPeau Collagen Pudding Sleeping Pack ($32)–This is an overnight facial mask that is infused with 52% collagen to give you more radiant, youthful looking skin. It’s a jello-type mask that fills fine lines and wrinkles and delivers deep and intense nourishment to the skin. I haven’t used this yet, and I’m unsure if I will. There’s just something about having product on my face while I’m sleeping that I don’t like. Won’t it make a mess on my pillowcase? No thanks!
Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Lemon ($18)–This product completely removes makeup and impurities to give you the best down-to-the-pore clean feel. Microbubbles penetrate deep to extract blackheads, whiteheads and any acne-causing bacteria. I’d say that this product wins for coming in the cutest packaging. When you open the container you are greeted by a very strong scent of lemon. I am a huge lemon fan, so for me, that is a good thing. I’ve been using this most nights and absolutely love it. It leaves my face leaving clean, soft, and smooth. I’m going to be disappointed once this is gone.
RoseMine Perfumed Hand Cream ($12)–This formula uses the energy of lily and hesperides to deeply nourish the skin and nails. The lotion is enriched with shea butter, rose water, argan oil, and mango seed butter. I have SO many lotions right now. This is going to the lineup and I might get to it in about a year. It does have a great smell though.
Sally’s Box Friendly Berry Berry Lip Patch ($3)–This lip patch is infused with various berry extracts rich in vitamin C. It hugs all the curves of your lips and enhances them for luscious and kissable lips. They recommend using this product twice a week. I used this product right away, and it felt really weird on my lips. I didn’t notice any difference after using it and it seems as though it’s a one-time use product. I think I’ll stick to lip balms for lip nourishment as it’s much more cost-effective and practical.
There was a lot of good products in this box, but I feel as though they missed the mark on “cute”. There were no products here that I felt were overly cute, whether in their names or packaging. Lots of neat products, and I’ve already started using many of them, and have been happy with the results. They definitely could have done a lot more for cute packaging and names though. I have the third edition coming sometime this during October and I’m looking forward to seeing if they used more cute packaging and names.
This particular box is sold out but there are still tons of other boxes to choose from.
