Juneberry is a bi-monthly Canadian subscription box. The cost is $28.50 every two months, and they have free shipping to Canada and the United States. You can also pre-pay for 3 or 6 months which lowers the price. Prices are in Canadian dollars so after the exchange rate this is even cheaper for American’s! They also have a shop where you can purchase items from past boxes. Each box contains 4-5 different lifestyle items.
This was Juneberry’s second box and the theme was “dreamers”. A portion of proceeds from each box was donated to Make A Wish Foundation, which is just so awesome! They hope that the contents of the box encourage you to go after your dreams. Dream big, set goals, and achieve greatness. Also, take time for yourself, time to relax and sleep well.
Dream Journal–They say that you can encourage lucid (free thinking) dreams by recording them each morning. I really never remember my dreams so that won’t be happening here. I do like having little notepads for taking notes at events if I’m blogging about it, so this will be handy. It’s smaller and lighter than the one I have and will fit into my purse better.
Yogi Soothing Caramel Bedtime Tea–This tea helps relax you, which helps you rest better. The aroma is soothing and is 100% herbal and made with non-GMO ingredients. I don’t drink tea but know a lot of people that do, this will be great for a gift.
DIY Dream Catcher–You can assemble your own dream catcher! You can make it personal and add supplies as you see fit. I never got into the whole dream catcher thing. It’s neat that they included a craft project though.
bareMinerals all-over face powder–You can either use this as blush or all over your face for a glowing, dreamy look. It’s suitable for all skin types and contains no preservatives, oils or waxes. I think it’s neat that they included a guide on what to use to get “dreamy makeup” with a variety of brands. This is a good brand and a good product, I’m happy to see it.
“Dream Big” Bracelet set–You can either wear these along, or as a set. All three are gold and fairly like, which is nice. I’m still not huge on gold, but they are cute. I don’t really see myself wearing the star or moon as they aren’t really my style, but I would definitely wear the Dream Big one.
I’m really excited about there being a Canadian lifestyle subscription box. It’s nice that it’s every other month because that makes it easy to budget for. The value was definitely there for this box, and it’s great that they offer free shipping. Even the fact that they are donating some proceeds is enough to make me want to support this box!
The curation was pretty perfect on this box. Everything lined up great with the theme of “Dreamers”. This particular box was definitely not for me though. 3/5 products don’t interest me at all, but I will be able to gift them which is nice. I’m going to stay subscribed for another box and see if anything interests me any more than this one. For this just being their second box though, I’m impressed.
