Juneberry is a bi-monthly Canadian subscription box, each having 4-5 different lifestyle items. The cost is $36.00CAD every two months, with free shipping to Canada and the United States. You can also pre-pay for 3 or 6 months which lowers the price. Since prices are in CAD, it’s even cheaper for all you American friends reading this! There is also a shop where you can purchase items from past boxes. There is also a coupon code at the end for new subscribers, so make sure you read all the way through!
This month’s theme was “flower power”. They say: “Now that winter has finally ended, we’re looking forward to everything spring has to offer with this throwback to our first ever Juneberry Box theme. Take some time out of your day to smell the flowers, and focus on you”
I wasn’t a subscriber the first time this theme made it’s rounds, but I was excited to see what they included since I do love floral!
Looking Rosy Floral Pouch–LOVE this! They had two different styles for this pouch, and this was the one that I was hoping I would receive. It has a zipper pocket in the back, and the main pocket under the flap is also zippered. It’s a bit of plastic feel, but it doesn’t feel overly cheap. This will be great during summer when I don’t want to carry my purse, but need something small for my phone, cards etc. Bonus is that it will fit my Samsung Note!
Blossoming Ankle Socks–These socks are super handy to have. They are very low rise so they are great to wear with a pair of flats without your socks showing. I totally wouldn’t complain if these showed though, the colors on the flowers are gorgeous!
Assorted Springtime Scarf–It’s not floral, but this dragonfly scarf still fits the overall theme. The only downside is that the blue background is a bit too pale for me, so I’m not sure if I will wear it. It might end up going to a friend of mine. This is a nice lightweight infinity scarf so it’s great for the springtime.
Forever Pink Manicure Set–These sets are so handy! I do have one from a subscription box a couple of years ago, but you really can’t have too many of these sets. I will probably keep one in my purse, and the other at home or work. The case is adorable, I like the mix of texture and pattern on it.
Assorted Floral Choker Necklaces–This is the one miss for me this month. Chokers are totally in right now, so I give them credit for including this trend, but they are not for me. This will also be going to a friend!
Juneberry is always hit or miss, but this box was a hit for me. I knew it would be though. You can’t really go wrong with floral patterns! Everything tied into the theme of “flower power” and it also had a really nice Spring feel to it. The scarf and chokers are the only items that I won’t be keeping, but I already have a couple of friends that I can pass these items on to. The other three items will definitely get used and be appreciated!
