FabFitFun(referral link) is a quarterly subscription box. Every three months you receive a seasonal gift box filled with items that fall under the “Fab” “Fit” and “Fun” categories. The cost is $49.99 a quarter with $8 shipping to Canada (which is a really good price!). There are still some Fall boxes left, and you can save $5 by using code “Fall5”.
I was really impressed with the first look. Everything was neatly packed and the presentation is great. I also need to give a shout out to the customer service. Just like in summer I had received my tracking information, and there was no movement on my package. It just sat awaiting shipment. Because I had seen this in summer as well, I sent CS a private message on Facebook asking them about it, mentioning that this had happened before. They were quick to respond (within a couple of hours) and said they would make sure it got on its way. They also said that they would give me a $10 credit towards my next box because of the issue. I’m really impressed with the fast response I got and their ability to make it right. This is one of those situations that will definitely make me want to keep supporting a company!
Gramr Gratitude Co. Thank You Card Set, Sealing Wax & Wax Press ($43)–With it being Thanksgiving here in Canada, this was perfect timing to receive this set. I feel as though the art of snail mail is really being lost. One of my favourite things is to receive mail, especially when it’s personal. What is more personal than a thank you card with a wax seal on it? This is a great item and I love that they included it.
Mary’s Gone Crackers (sponsored)
Numi Organic Tea (sponsored)
LaNatura Travel Size Body Butter ($18)
Just like last season, FabFitFun included some sponsored boxes. This allows them to keep the cost down while sending us an amazing value, which I am all for! I’m definitely curious about the pretzels. They are vegan, organic, non-GMO, whole grain and kosher, so they are clearly very healthy! I love pretzels and I’m very curious about the flavour.
The tea is by a company who uses the highest quality organic, non-GMO, 100% real ingredients that are sourced from Fair Trade Certified gardens. I’m not at all a tea person, but I know a lot of people who are. This will make a great gift for someone!
The Body Butter is Vegan and contains ingredients to heal, soothe, and preserve skin’s youthfulness. I love that this is a smaller size that will be easy to throw into the purse.
CHI 44 Iron Guard ($14.50)–This weightless formula delivers moisture back into your hair without any buildup. I try not to use heat on my hair very often as I usually have enough time to let it air dry, and prefer how it looks that way. This will be great to have on hand for when I do need it though, and I’ve heard really great things about CHI as a brand.
Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster ($56)–This was one of the spoilers that were released before the box was sent out. It’s a skin treatment to help revitalize your post-summer dried-out skin. It moisturizes deeply, minimizing fine lines. It contains hyaluronic acid, panthenol, glycolipids and algae extract. I will likely wait to use this product. I still have Purlisse coming out the wazoo from other boxes, and I have some of the flash facial from last season to use up still. I might save this for when those are gone, or just gift it since I don’t really deal with dry skin.
The Honest Co. Hydrating Sea Butter Cleansing Bar ($4.95)–This is a brand started by Jessica Alba and I’ve been seeing it online a lot. This is an 84% organic cleanser made with coconut, olive, and argan oils. It naturally moisturizes, conditions and soothes the skin. I’ really not a fan of bar soap but I think I might actually try this one out once my shower gel is gone!
Beauty for Real True Color Lip Cream “Always There” ($22)–So. Freaking. Excited. This lip cream not only gives I got a lipgloss just like this in a Memebox awhile ago. I was fascinated with it and think it’s the greatest invention ever. It has a mirror on the side and a light on the applicator!
Great Soles Pink Ribbon Ballet Barre Ped ($12)–These ballet-inspired socks will keep you from slipping while doing your barre, Pilates and yoga classes. They are made of a cotton blend and have a heel tread of stripes, flowers, and dots. These are really cute. I don’t take any of those types of classes, but I have been thinking about signing up for some different types of classes, like Aerial Fly Fitness. I’m not sure if you wear shoes while doing that, but if not, these will be great.
Jessie Steele Apron ($32)–This was the first spoiler to be released, there were a few different styles and colours that were released, and I was definitely hoping to get the pink apron. While I’m disappointed that I didn’t get that, this brown one is still super cute. This apron has adjustable neck and waist ties which are great because it’s easy to fit a variety of heights and sizes that way. Only recently have I really started to cook, so I’m quite happy to have a cute apron. I start cooking supper soon after coming home from work so I’m still wearing my nice work clothes. This will be great to protect against any unwanted spills or splatters.
FabFitFun hit it out of the park with this box. I feel a lot of these items are accurate for the Fall season, and I’ll get use out of most of the items. I really enjoy the wide variety of items that they send out, and that they are great quality. I’m definitely most excited about the apron, and the lip gloss. As I mentioned above, there are still some Fall boxes left, it’s not too late to get in on this fun!
